Bellin College is proud to support the men and women in uniform who are serving or have served our country. It is important that the student soldier/veteran applicant be aware of their eligibility for federal and state veteran’s benefits before working with the 正规博十大app排名财务主管. Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018, Section 103 of Public Law 115-407 自2019年8月1日起生效，第103节. Educational institutions must have a policy in place that will allow an individual to attend or participate in a program of education if the individual provides the school with a “Certificate of Eligibility (COE).” VA interprets “certificate of eligibility” to be any documentation provided by VA that serves as verification of an individual’s eligibility to benefits under chapter 31 or chapter 33.”
All 军事 students and/or their dependents must provide documentation from their respective chapters to collect federal and/or TA education benefits before registering for classes. This documentation must be turned in to the School Certifying Official (SCO) in the Bursar’s office.
All students identifying themselves on their application as Veteran, or eligible for veteran’s education benefits either active duty or separated, are directed to the Veteran’s Certifying Official at the college for counseling regarding their VA Education Benefits. 另外, the Certifying Official reaches out to the student and refers the student to their Education Services Officer (ESO) before admission to any program.

Credit earned while serving may meet Bellin College requirements. Bellin College grants credit for specific requirements after a review of a JST (Joint Services Transcript) or a transcript from the CCAF (Community College of the Air Force).

These funds are returned to the military service branch by the college or university. If a student is deployed or stops attending for a military reason, the college will work with that student to make sure that the student incurs no additional debt as a result of deployment or other mandatory military obligations.

Readmission Policy for Service Members collecting education benefits

Completion of a degreed program does not confer a professional license. It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of the professional license or certificate that they will need to practice as a nurse, 放射技术, 超声波检查医师等. The NCLEX exam is an example of the license need for a registered nurse.
